MICHAEL KAULKIN — FOUNDER

Michael is an 20-year veteran web developer with experience as an in-house problem solver, a team member at a Top-10 Silicon Valley web/marketing agency and as an independent contractor. Before creating Cantus Firmus LLC in 2010 he served as in-house developer and webmaster for insideARM.com for 10 years.
During the Web’s Golden Years of the late 90’s he worked for Grapevine Inc. on projects for the likes of Adobe, 3Com, JD Power and Associates and countless startups of that era. Since 2010 Cantus Firmus LLC has built dozens of WordPress-based sites for companies and non-profits of all sizes. Kaulkin is also a composer and teacher of classical music in the San Francisco Bay Area.

ROBIN CARDUNER — PARTNER AND TECHNICAL LEAD

Robin also has a background in the theatre, having previously designed lights and sets as well as acted with several small companies on the East Coast. He believes that the best software development is likewise an art, and takes the same craftsmanlike, yet practical, approach to it today.

CHRISTINE U’REN — CREATIVE CONSULTANT

Christine has a background in writing and editing as well: she earned a B.A. in English from UC Berkeley, and worked for nearly four years as an editor at Miller Freeman, Inc. Two of her full-length plays have been produced locally by Bella Union Theatre Company, and she has written for the San Francisco Silent Film Festival blog.
